On Saturday, we visited Woburn Sands for a friendly game on their outdoor artificial surface. Conditions were almost perfect apart from a chilly easterly breeze.

The Woburn Sands team clearly showed the benefits of having played on their outdoor surface recently, winning three of the four rinks and winning by the game by 76 to 54.

The match was followed by a very nice hot dinner, cakes and a renewal of friendships, and friendly rivalries.
