10th May - Open Day
This year, we had a banner on display in Buckingham town centre to advertise our event. The weather worked in our favour as the sun shone all day. We had 17 people register with us, mainly new bowlers. John, Fraser and Joëlle were kept busy coaching. Most of the visitors seemed keen to come back to receive further coaching. It was good to see so many of our existing members down at the club to welcome our visitors.

11th May - Invitation Mixed Pairs Gala Day
Once again, we couldn’t have asked for better weather. !2 teams from around the county played three games of 8 ends. The chicken casserole and Viennetta went down well as did the home-made cakes at the end of the day. It was a very close run day with Jackie and Adam Squires from Bletchley Town BC narrowly losing out to Mark and Teresa Newman from Waddesdon BC. Both teams scored the same points so shot difference was taken into consideration. Very positive comments were received from many of the participants who all seemed to have enjoyed their day.
