News Update - July 6th

Results

On Monday Evening, our Men’s Senior Fours lost 17-22 to a very strong Gerrards Cross team, while a large turnout from the Women’s Institute were clearly enjoying their evening on the green.

We also had a Mixed Friendly against Linslade on Saturday, which we lost 79-89 with 3 rinks sharing the highest winning rink score.

Fixtures

Monday sees one of the highlights of the season with our Ladies Day, also known as Strawberry Day, taking place. This is not a day for the faint-hearted as the competition is fierce both on the green and at the Cake Table.

Unfortunately, Aston Clinton have cancelled the Ladies Friendly game due to be played on Tuesday, however we still have busy week of competitive fixtures.

The Ray Keen League fixtures continue on Wednesday Evening, with 3 teams playing away and just 1 team at home.

On Thursday Evening we have our first Bletchley & District Men’s League game of the season. We are at home against Linslade.

The Friday Night Triples will continue with the first round of repeat fixtures.

On Saturday it is our President’s Day, another season highlight as the President’s team takes on the Captain’s team.

Finally on Sunday, we have two home games. At 10:00, our Men will play in the Bucks Plate Quarter Final against Chandos Park. At 14:30, we have a friendly match against Wendover.
